Hunan Rare Earth’s Magnesium Alloy Breakthrough Recognized in Hunan’s 2025 Top Ten Strategic R&D Projects

As Hunan Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) has officially unveiled its 2025 Ten Key Technology Research and Development Programs,  Hunan Rare Earth’s "High-Strength Heat-Resistant Rare Earth Magnesium Alloy Manufacturing Technology and Industrialization Project" secures a prominent position through rigorous selection. This cutting-edge initiative closely revolves around the major national strategic demands, directly addressing the challenges to material performance in fields such as the new generation of aerospace and new energy vehicles, and is committed to solving the "critical technology" problems that are "out of reach".

 

The recognition marks a consecutive milestone following the company’s prior accomplishment of having its "High-Purity Rare Earth Metal Target Fabrication Technology" listed among Hunan’s 2025 Top Ten Strategic R&D Projects. This latest achievement further solidifies Hunan Rare Earth’s leadership in pioneering rare earth material innovations, demonstrating its consistent capacity to deliver technological breakthroughs aligned with China’s high-end manufacturing roadmap.
