Dr. Liu won the honorary title of “Outstanding Engineer” in Hunan Province in 2024
On December 4 2024, Hunan Association for Science and Technology (HNAST) commended the “Excellent Engineers” in Hunan Province in 2024, and Dr. Liu, senior technical expert of Hunan Rare Earth, was awarded the prestigious title of "Outstanding Engineer of Hunan Province" for the year 2024, Dr. Liu, a senior technical expert of the Company, was awarded the honorary title of “Outstanding Engineer” in Hunan Province in 2024, following the honor bestowed upon the company's chairman, Prof. Huang Meisong, who was selected for the list of government special allowance recipients by the State Council.
The "Outstanding Engineers of Hunan Province" are engineering and technology workers who have made significant achievements and made outstanding contributions in fields such as equipment manufacturing, new materials, electronic information, biomedicine, environmental energy in Hunan Province. They are innovative, enterprising, and proactive, and are excellent representatives of science and technology workers in the new era.
Dr. Liu has been dedicated to the research of rare metal metallurgy and rare earth functional materials since she started working. She has successively hosted or participated in more than 10 provincial and ministerial-level scientific research projects, of which 4 are national-level. She has won 4 provincial and ministerial-level science and technology progress awards, including 2 first prizes. She has published 18 papers and obtained 20 patents for invention, of which 4 are valued at 16.16 million yuan and have been transformed into practical results, contributing positively to the development of the rare earth industry in China. She has been awarded the title of "labor model", "excellent communist party member", and “Advanced Individual” multiple times, and the research team she is in has won the Award for Excellent Invention Team in Changsha City.
