Lanthanum Fluoride (LaF3)

Rare earths fluorides are raw materials in producing rare earths metals and optical instruments. High-performance and high purity rare earth fluorides can greatly improve optical quality and are commonly used in optical coating. Rare earth fluorides have recently attracted substantial interests due to their conspicuous luminescence, ferromagnetism, insulating/magnetism properties and potential applications in solid state lasers, energy converters and 3D flat panel displays.
